Interface design - app
Many principles come into play with interface design. An interface must adhere to established branding, show consistent interactive components to reduce the user’s cognitive overhead in having to relearn functions and interactions. Not only must an interface be refreshing and pleasing to use (UI design), it must also be thoughtfully planned so as to reduce interactions, allowing the user to perform crucial tasks with the lowest number of clicks, while achieving legal, business model requirements.

Magazine / publication design
The magazine reading experience should be luxurious, relaxing, clear and engaging. The objective of magazine design is to engage the reader, make best use of beautiful photography, create a good balance between advertising and feature content while keeping to a consistent, concise style guide. A magazine should be recognisable when it is seen from any interior page, attractive to the target market and draw the reader to key elements in the content.
